Ingredients:
Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 orange, zest and juice
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
Warm Drink 🍂
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2-3 tablespoons Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 cloves
- 1 star anise (optional)
Cold Drink ☀️
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2-3 tablespoons Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Orange slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:
For the Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup:
🌶️ In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
🍊 Add the orange zest, orange juice, and saffron threads to the sugar-water mixture.
🌶️ Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the syrup has thickened slightly.
🍊 Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain the syrup to remove any solids, and store it in a glass container.
For the Warm Drink:
❤️ In a small saucepan, combine freshly squeezed orange juice, Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise (if using).
❤️ Heat over low-medium heat until it's warmed through, but do not boil.
❤️ Remove the spices, and pour the warm spiced orange saffron drink into mugs or glasses.
❤️ Serve immediately, optionally garnished with an orange slice.
For the Cold Drink:
💛 In a glass, add ice cubes.
💛 Pour freshly squeezed orange juice over the ice cubes.
💛 Add 2-3 tablespoons of Spiced Orange Saffron Syrup (adjust to taste) and stir well.
💛 Garnish with an orange slice and a mint leaf.
💛 Serve chilled.
