I love my saffron. I have already cooked rice using it for flavor and coloring.
Great quality, I use this for tea and cooking. Will definitely buy again.
This added a lovely subtle richness to a tomato chickpea ‘curry’, almost like a clove, not cloying or overly sweet. Also adds a nice spice to a milky coffee.
Your prompt customer service is greatly appreciated! I haven’t cooked with any of it yet, but the turmeric and cumin seeds both have a rich deep aroma. The saffron passes the water test and is a beautiful golden color. Can’t wait to get cooking!
Finally used the spice in some rice dish I was making. The quality is unrivaled. After learning the story of the founder, I had a new appreciation of the company.
My only comment for improvement would be to have all lids made of same color and all labels containing same format as to what is inside. I want that I don't think is possible, would be to add a note on the back detailing what the spice is, where it comes from and what it is frequently used it. (as a reminder for those of us who are older & need a reminder!) As for the spices themselves, fresh, fragrant and delicious! Far superior to the grocery store brands. It also makes me happy that you are working with farmers in the area the spices are sourced from! Well done!
This shipped quickly, which was wonderful, but nothing compared to the actual treat inside! The spices are wonderful, packaged beautifully, and absolutely perfect for what we needed. We will be ordering again, and are very excited to use all the spices in our gift pack!
Great Saffron! Great quality and it comes right to your door. I am happy to help out a family business that is growing a great product.
We have been buying saffron from Heray for a few years. Always excellent quality.
