Saffron Green Tea With Cardamom

Ingredients
- 1 Table Spoon of Afghan Green Tea
- 30 mg of saffron (or a small pinch of saffron) 8-12 threads of saffron
- ¼ Table Spoon of Green Cardamom Pods (grinded)
- 4 Cups of Water
Instructions
- Heat the water in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the green tea, saffron threads, and crushed cardamom pods.Cover the saucepan and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.After steeping, remove the tea bags/leaves and strain the tea to remove the cardamom pods and saffron threads.If desired, sweeten the tea with honey or sugar, stirring until dissolved.Pour the saffron green tea into cups or mugs.Garnish with fresh lemon slices, if desired.Serve hot and enjoy the aromatic flavors of saffron and cardamom in every sip!
