To make saffron buns, you will need the following ingredients:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp of active dry yeast
1/4 cup of warm water
2 tbsp of sugar
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tbsp of unsalted butter, room temperature
2 egg yolks
1 tsp of ground saffron
1/2 cup of warm whole milk
Raisins (optional)
Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tsp of water)
